OK. My name is Trisha, and I have 20 pets. Here's the list:

 Four cats: Shmelly, Ruckus, Bella, and Aprilcakes

One Pomeranian: Chopper

Four chinchillas: Spodie, Lady, Cooper, and Simone

Three box turtles: Parker, Knuckles, and Buffalo Alice

 One Pacific Parrotlet: Perry

Two rats: Tooey and Skeller

One bearded dragon: Ozzy

One Dumeril 's boa: Lucy

One Russian dwarf hamster: Godzilla

One rabbit: Richie Foo-Foo

One guinea pig: Twinkie

 We recently lost our precious little hedgehog, Tiny Paul the Spiny Ball. That was a traumatic night, but he was well-loved, and he knew it. He died in my boyfriend's arms, of old age, after a life of joy and affection. He will be sorely missed, but just last week we put a deposit on a new baby hedgie, who will be ready to come home to us in a week or so. We can't wait!

 I'll soon be posting some anecdotes about all the many, many wonderful animals I have known throughout my life, and I'll give updates on the new baby as they happen. Thanks for reading!

I put a few pics up on the forum - it would take me a year or two to post pics of all of them! And getting them to hold still for the camera is pretty trying. But we'll get there.

I'm so glad to be part of this site. I hope that the articles I write for you will be helpful. I have acquired a great deal of knowledge over the many years that I have kept animals of all types, and by sharing what I have learned, I hope that I will be able to help someone avoid heartache. I know the pain of losing a pet that could have been saved, if only information had been available to help; I hope to provide a small part of that information. I love to share what I know - just ask my friends, I think they're all sick of hearing me yak about the zoo!

I;m looking forward to being an active participant in the forums as well as writing articles for the site. I'll get to know you all as we go along. Thanks for the warm welcome - see you around the board!
