Reuters reports that a German research team has discovered that the family cat can also be the carrier of the MRSA or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus virus.

Various news organizations have reported that three companies have been indicted in the tainted pet food scandal last year.  The pet food was sold and fed to thousands of pet, many of whom died after eating the products.
