Sleeping like a dog

Sleeping like a dog
The Dog's Life is for me is an expression derived from the notion that a dog has the luxury to sleep all day. Most domestic dogs that are pets don't have to go to work or school, so they really do sleep about half the day. Dogs sleep out of boredom. Some dog's sleeping habits influence its behavior. Stimulation during the day is necessary for some dogs that need to be awake during the day so they can sleep at night; at the same time as their owners.

Owner-Dog mutual trust

Owner-Dog mutual trust
It is very difficult to say no to your dog when they look at you so lovingly. Dogs don't miss curfews or talk disrespectfully to their owners, so why not give them a bite of your dinner? Changing an unwanted behavior takes a lot of time, and you need to change it at a slow and steady pace. If you become angry and impatient with your dog, the chance to correctly modify the behavior will be more difficult.

The value of a dog leash

The value of a dog leash
Dog Owners should understand the importance of containing their dog on a leash. A leash protects your pet from the dangers of the outside world. Regardless of what breed of dog you own, an unsupervised pet can get in trouble. Most pet owners treat their pets like children, and just like a young child should not be outside without boundaries, neither should a dog.

Swimming - Give your dog a break from the heat
Beautiful summer weather is a perfect excuse to enjoy the great outdoors. Some of us are "water people" and just like some dogs are "water dogs". Sometimes a dog breed that doesn't typically make a splash will enjoy the water if they are encouraged or just want to join in the fun!
