Impossible you say? There are a few important things to know about genetic predisposition among dogs. Dogs once lived long, happy and healthy lives. The tremendous decline in health we see today happened over the last 40+ years; approximately 80 generations of dogs.

In order to consider the possibility of reversing genetic predisposition we first have to examine what has changed. What was their habitat like then, compared to today? How much of the past can we incorporate into the present, and if we do, can it really reverse today’s slippery slope of genetic predisposition?
