Our dogs sometimes do the most perplexing things, and since they don’t have the power to speak to us with words, it often can be hard to figure out the reason for some of their more mysterious behaviors. One question that has plagued most dog owners is ‘Why does my dog eat grass?”

Sometimes they don’t like where their food bowl is placed and the only way to tell you is by simply not using it.
Ah the beloved Persian cat! Why do people love them so? It's easy – the are gorgeous cats that come in a wide range of lovely colors and have gentle and sweet personalities to match. They are a good choice for most families although along with all this loveliness comes a few considerations. It should be taken into consideration that they do require more grooming than the average short haired cat, they can occasionally be picky eaters and can have sensitive tummies. But the question is – do they need to eat a special diet formulated just for Persians?

Having said that, there are questions to ask yourself and precautions that need to be taken while considering if this is a diet you can safely provide to your pet.
Many of us have gotten spoiled just leaving bowls of food (and water) down so that our pets can nibble or sip whenever they choose throughout the day. But is this really the best way to feed them? There are two schools of thought about the best way to feed your pet. Keep in mind, what works best for one animal, may not work well for another.
